Glad you’re here in Chicago Tim.
Your blog is the closest thing I’ve come to in a long time that actually mirrors my own thoughts and lays them out thoughtfully and articulately.
    Thanks.

    hi progressive america out there,
i’d like to know as a european why you need both to specify ‘free market’ for capitalism and to differenciate it from communism, for I suppose you mean by communism nothing else than the USSR system, which is, Socialisme ou barbarie definitely pointed it in the fifties, scarsely more than “fully planned” capitalism. one and unique concentration camp. i’d define myself as a communist, but nevertheless voted for the native agrarianism option, for that’s what I mean with communism. anarchy sounds a bit too much like “mad max” scenario. nevermind, i don’t like the word either.
